Let us pamper your pet.

Traveling with your favorite companion? When flying with WingTips, not only does your fur baby board with you… they stay right by your side during your entire flight.

Because they’re part of the family.

At WingTips we believe pets are an integral part of our family and they deserve a vacation just like the rest of us. But, we know… traveling with pets can add a level of difficulty and stress, especially when flying. Unlike most commercial airlines, WingTips welcomes your four-legged family members, big or small, in the main cabin on our flights. Not only does your fur baby board with you, they never leave your side.

We love pampering pets.

Whether you book a private or shared charter with WingTips your pet will be traveling in the main cabin with you… just as they should be.

  • For private charters, there is no additional fee to fly with your pet.

  • When flying on a shared WingTips charter pets under 50 lbs fly for free!

  • If your pet is over 50 lbs, contact our Concierge Team to receive a price quote.

They’ll always fly by your side.

If you want to travel with your larger pet, commercial airlines require they fly in the cargo section of the plane. That’ll never happen when you fly with WingTips. Your pet will always fly by your side. Whether you have a cat or dog — small or large — we pride ourselves on making your trip and theirs as stress-free, easy, and enjoyable as possible.

For their safety, on shared charter flights, pets under 50 lbs must remain in their carrier throughout the entire flight and larger pets must be held securely on their leash. For private charter flights, all pets must be on a leash throughout the entire flight.

Pet-Friendly Travel Tips.

Traveling with pets can be stressful — for you, your family, and your pet. Here are just a few tips that will help make your journey safer and more enjoyable for everyone:

  • Pre-order your pet’s food and supplies so they are there when you arrive. That way you won’t have to travel with them.

  • If you are staying in a hotel, request a ground-floor room and, if available, one with a balcony so that you and your pet can enjoy the view.

  • During the warm summer months, don’t forget to check the pavement temperature before taking your furry family member on a walk or put booties on their feet to protect them from burns.

  • Your pet should always wear a collar and identification tag that clearly states an address or cell phone number where you can be reached.

  • When traveling by air, always look for a WingTips flight, it is the easiest and safest way to travel with your pets.

  • If you have no other choice but to fly on a commercial aircraft, it’s always best to put your pet in a carrier and bring them on the plane with you. However, most commercial airlines only provide this option for small pets, forcing larger pets to travel in the cargo section. The ASPCA does not recommend flying with your pet in the cargo area of the plane, but sometimes other options may not be available to you. If that’s the case, be sure to:

    1. Purchase a USDA-approved shipping crate. It should be large enough so your pet can comfortably stand, sit, and turn around.

    2. Write “Live Animal” in large letters on at least two sides of the crate and use arrows to prominently indicate the upright position of the crate.

    3. Ensure that the door is securely closed, but not locked, so that airline personnel can open it in case of an emergency.

    4. Tell every airline employee you encounter, on the ground and in the air that you are traveling with a pet in the cargo hold. This way, they will be ready if any additional considerations or attention is needed.

Pet’s are family members too. That’s why we treat them just like every other guest who travels with us.
