Mike has tapped into experts in aviation, research, technology, customer service, and marketing to help him bring WingTips to life.

As a private pilot, father, and self-proclaimed technology nerd, Mike’s own experience provided the idea for WingTips. Through the countless obstacles he encountered when flying commercial airlines for business and the number of hours spent driving up and down the California coast to visit his daughter in college, he was living through the same pain points as thousands of others who were spending unproductive hours behind the wheel because commercial carriers do not fly many regional routes. That lead to Mike’s single-minded belief that regional air travel could solve multiple challenges encountered with air transportation services available today.

Mike had a vision.

But, he knew he couldn’t do it alone.

To help deliver this vision, Mike knew he needed the brightest minds in travel. But that wasn’t enough… he needed a team that shared his entrepreneurial spirit, passion for innovation, and deep desire to bring a new and better way to travel to the market. So, Mike set out to find a team of professionals with diverse core competencies needed to deliver on the WingTips promise. That’s why the WingTips team is a mix of aviation veterans, technology innovators, marketing pros, customer service gurus, operational experts, and research specialists.

  • Mike started his career in technology after studying Economics. His data-driven problem-solving approach began early in his career working for some of the world’s largest database technology providers, where he was responsible for developing custom solutions for real-world business challenges. 

    After years of working for others, Mike’s entrepreneurial pursuits turned toward air charter by founding JetLimo; the first fully automated shared charter tool. JetLimo built custom applications for charter operators and successfully automated empty-leg sales, an early attempt at a shared charter model.  

    The years Mike spent as an instrument-rated private pilot and custom coding database applications put Mike on track to assemble the building blocks for today’s WingTips.

    Mike now serves as WingTips’ CEO leading the company into the next stage of development. Under his leadership, WingTips is ready to capture demand for regional air mobility services as the market is poised for dramatic growth.  

  • Bruce brings his decades of experience in the aviation business to our strategic planning and operations leadership. His unofficial title is the ‘godfather of on-demand air mobility.’ His contributions to the creation of this market were chronicled in the books Free Flight, by James Fallows, 2001, and The Great Eclipse, by Dennis Maxwell, 2011.

    Bruce is a co-founder of DayJet, which raised $80M in the early ‘00s​

  • Our research expert in aviation/airline demand forecasting, Laurie, is studying and doing a research project on interpreting cell data to forecast Regional Air demand down to individual airport pairs. Her work will be added to WingTips application at several levels to improve response to clients, implement dynamic pricing, and integrate our floating fleet optimization to improve passenger load and revenue.

    Laurie is a Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology​ & Co-Director of Urban & Regional Air Mobility​ .

    She is the President of AGIFORS​ Expert in Demand Forecast Science for Air Travel.

  • Kris has created a comprehensive Marketing Strategy Plan to help ensure we are delivering an exceptional experience, across your entire journey. Kris is a very talented and crucial addition to our team as we move through 2023 and beyond.

    A former executive at the Apple Leisure Group, the largest privately owned leisure travel provider, Kris is a multi-disciplined Marketing & Business Strategist, with strong B2C, Brand, Integrated Marketing, Mar-Tech, and Operational expertise​.

  • Lynsey keeps us focused on our “wow every customer” philosophy. She not only leads our customer experience practice, where her mission is to ensure an exceptional journey for our customers, she is also responsible for marketing, promotions, and partner relationships.

    Lynsey works across multiple teams to ensure consistency, transparency, and the highest possible level of customer service and integrity.

    Lynsey formerly worked at Blueprint Studios​ where she was responsible for specials event and marekting.

  • Cat is part of our “wow” team! The concierge team provides personalized reservation consultation and guidance for our customers. This team's goal is to exceed customer expectations at every stage of the relationship, from inquiry to departure.

  • Katie is our UX researcher and designer with a passion for simplifying design for complex applications. Her involvement in the redesign of WingTips version 2.0 will be critical to implementing advanced features like dynamic pricing, integration of demand forecast data, and making the system scale for more volume.

    Katie brings her years of experience from Nike, UpScript Health, and DailyPay.

    She is an expert in User Experience/User Interface Design for Complex Apps.
